About Use & Treatment
How long does one treatment take?
Around 13 minutes.
eivia Core 1 is designed with guided treatment modes. Each mode runs through its own care cycle, and the device will automatically move to the next mode or power off when the treatment is complete.
Will the device turn off automatically?
Yes. eivia Core 1 is designed with automatic shut-off protection. In certain modes, if the ion contact panel is not touched for a period of time, the device may automatically power off. The COOL mode will also power off once the cooling treatment is complete.
Why do I need to touch the ion contact panel while using it?
Some functions require skin-contact detection to work properly. Please make sure your hand is touching the ion contact panel during use, especially in CLEAN, HYDRA and GLOW modes.
EMS Microcurrent
Why can’t I feel the EMS microcurrent?
Please make sure you are using HYDRA or GLOW mode and that the EMS intensity indicator is on. EMS sensation may also feel weaker if there is not enough skincare gel or serum on the skin. Apply more conductive skincare product, adjust the EMS intensity level, and ensure your hand is touching the ion contact panel.
Is it normal if the EMS feeling is stronger around dental work or metal fillings?
Some users with metal dental work may feel the microcurrent more noticeably. This can happen because microcurrent may conduct through metal materials and create a stronger sensation. If it feels uncomfortable, please lower the EMS intensity or stop using the EMS function.
Will EMS affect the central nervous system?
EMS on Core 1 is designed to work on facial muscles and facial nerves. It is not designed to stimulate the central nervous system. Please avoid using the device around the eyes, throat area, or any area that feels uncomfortable.
Who should avoid using EMS or this device?
Do not use the device near or with electric medical equipment, including implanted medical devices such as pacemakers, wearable medical equipment such as ECG devices or infusion pumps, or life-support equipment. Please refer to the safety information in the user manual before use.
Warm, Cooling & Vibration Functions
Why is the warm feeling not very strong?
The warming function is designed to feel gentle and intermittent, rather than continuously hot. A mild warm sensation in BOOST mode is normal.
Is the vibration sound normal?
Yes. In CLEAN, BOOST, and HYDRA / GLOW mode when EMS is off, a motor vibration sound is normal. If the sound becomes unusually loud or abnormal, please stop using the device and contact customer support.
Troubleshooting
What should I do if the device stops during use?
Please check whether the treatment mode has finished, whether the ion contact panel is being touched, and whether the device has entered automatic shut-off. If needed, press and hold the power / mode button for 10 seconds to reset the device.
What should I do if the treatment head LED light does not turn on?
Please check whether the device is in BOOST, HYDRA, GLOW, or COOL mode. If the light still does not turn on, reset the device by pressing and holding the power / mode button for 10 seconds.
What should I do if the device feels too hot?
Stop using the device and turn it off. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes before turning it on again. Do not continue using the device if it feels unusually hot or uncomfortable.
How do I reset Core 1?
Press and hold the power / mode button for 10 seconds, then restart the device.
